Steel City Softball League is committed to fair, safe, and inclusive play. The Player Inclusion Policy (PIP) outlines how players who require an individualized rules modification can participate in league play.
📝 2026 Update: Honesty Policy
For the 2026 season, the league is operating the PIP on a good-faith, self-declaration basis. Players requesting a rules modification submit this form themselves — no doctor's note or medical documentation is required.
We trust our players. By submitting this form, you are personally attesting that the information you provide is true and that the requested modification is genuinely needed.
Looking ahead: this honesty-policy approach is for the 2026 season only. For 2027 and beyond, the league may require written medical approval — we'll be hashing out the details in the coming months and will share updates with the membership well before next season.
For full details of the approved policy, view the SCSL Player Inclusion Policy (PDF).

Privacy & Data Retention
- Submissions are stored in a private Microsoft 365 SharePoint list visible only to the Secretary and Commissioners of the Steel City Softball League Executive Board.
- Microsoft 365 is operated under enterprise-grade security controls. Data is encrypted at rest (AES‑256) and in transit (TLS 1.2+), and Microsoft is independently audited under SOC 1, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and FedRAMP.
- All submissions are automatically deleted at the end of each calendar year (December 31). A new self-declaration is required each season.
- SCSL does not sell, share, or repurpose this information. It is used solely for league inclusion decisions.
