Steel City Softball League Sponsorship Program
The Steel City Softball League is Pittsburgh’s longest running LGBTQ+ sport organization and remains committed to providing a safe, affirming, and positive environment for athletes of all skill levels and backgrounds to come together through the sport of softball.
The Steel City Softball League currently has over 250 active players with many additional fans, friends, and family members to help support your business, organization or causes. By sponsoring the league or an individual team, your dollars will go directly towards the annual operational cost of the season. This includes helping to secure field permits, purchasing player insurance and equipment, umpire salaries, ASA and technology fees, and hosting SCSL community events. Because the SCSL is a registered non-profit with a 501(c)(3) status, all sponsorship plans are 100% tax deductible*.
Sponsor packages are outlined below but the SCSL is always open to other ideas or opportunities that may be better suited to your business, organization, or cause.

Team Sponsorship ($400) or Team Co-Sponsorship ($200)
- Company logo and link on the SCSL website.
- Sponsor appreciation within our league-wide emails.
- Ability to work with your sponsored team to create events that benefit your business.
League Sponsorship ($600+)
- Company logo, link, and short bio on the SCSL website.
- Featured bio post in the community section of SCSL Facebook page (over 1,200 hundred followers).
- Shared content and cross-promotion across all digital platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and league-wide emails (potential reach of 2,100+ individuals).
- Ability to co-create and host league-wide events (such as cornhole tournaments, happy hours, etc.).
Grand Slam Sponsorship ($1000+)
Any combination of sponsorship that totals $1000 or more.
- All the benefits listed in other sponsorship packages.
- One in-depth sponsor spotlight article within our league emails.
- Highly visible logo placement/company mention on website and other communications.
- i.e., “the Steel City Softball League sponsored by [company/organization name]…”.
- Logo placement on pride banner or other highly visible marketing pieces.
- Personalized appreciation gift i.e., trophy or plaque to recognize your seasonal support.
- 2 VIP tickets to our end of season banquet and any other large-scale league events.
